What is it like to work as a city tour guide for Marbella Adventures?
Based on your availability, you’ll be assigned tours that you can view in your calendar application. Before each tour, you head to the meeting point where you’ll meet your group. You can expect guests come from all over the world. A large part of our clientele is from the USA and Canada, but we also regularly welcome travellers from Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Germany, and even Australia. Every group is different, and that’s what makes it fun: you tune into their energy, adapt your style, and enjoy discovering the city together.
We provide you with well-prepared routes, key information, and thorough training, so you always feel confident and supported. At the same time, there’s plenty of room to add your own personal touch — telling stories in your own way and bringing your own energy to each tour.
You’ll guide guests through beautiful streets that change throughout the year — from lively summer evenings to cosy streets filled with Christmas lights. One evening you might be leading a tapas tour, strolling through charming alleys, sharing laughs, stories, and delicious local flavours. The next day, you could be showing people around on a sunny afternoon city tour, mixing famous highlights with hidden gems only locals know.
At the end of each tour, your guests leave with big smiles, great memories, and the feeling that they’ve truly experienced Marbella — not just seen it. And as a little bonus, you’ll often receive generous tips from travellers!
